- Met and spoke with Tod Olson and Jane Ciacci about the particulars of the Practicum
- Brief tour of the library
- Dealt with the 'human resources' aspects of the Practicum

- Met the digitization staff--a part of archives
- Recieved the digitization information for the documentation process
- Toured the library and departments I'll be working with and within
- Dealt with scheduling and paperwork
- Recieved an "assignment" to download and review jEdit
